Living in Barcelona

Nova Godina

This year we continued our fledgling tradition of celebrating Christmas on New Year. In Serbia this is the normal day for exchanging presents, and so it seemed fit to combine all the festive energy into one crazy day. Last year Mimi and Juan visited and we went to Cirque du Soleil, and this year two of my sisters were able to join in the fun. They must have had an especially present filled end of year, as they celebrated Christmas at home with my family, and then again in Barcelona with us. We cooked up a big dinner, and exchanged gifts just before midnight, then we counted down the new year and ate our twelve grapes. Too much fun and crackers and party hats, yes yes!

Lucky packets: YES!
