The past few days I visited the Pyranees, the mountain range that runs between France and Spain. I climbed mountains, put my toes in freezing lakes, picked wildflowers, and ate way too much cheese! All this nature-y-ness meant that I met some interesting creatures. Our little log cabin was inundated with moths, spiders, rainbow coloured beetles, hairy caterpillars, and even a baby mouse (which I think we may have suffocated by sitting on him – he was under the couch)
His feet were perfect. And he had a beautiful stripe on his face. Apparently he is a Garden Dormouse. Darn he is cute!
A few other friends, these ones survived, luckily.
