Anne Siems and the See-Through Dress

In the last few days, I came across some internet treasures, which I would like to share. A little Thursday inspiration. Yes!

First off the lovely paintings by Anne Siems, who says “I love faces, bodies, gardens, wide open stretches of land with small forests and fields, old things that have had a life of their own, stories and all the realms in between.” Her artwork is beautiful, and I especially love her invisible or rather see-through dresses.

Her paintings are filled with so much detail. You can find creatures, fruit, beetles, moths, and caterpillars hidden in the delicately painted scenes.

I’ll post more treasures later today, but now I must grab a cup of coffee and continue with a drawing of a Circus Hound :D
