This is the view form my balcony in Barcelona… on Saturday i move into my new apartment, and possibly my home for the next year or so… getting organised in a new country is always quite stressful, i find, so im quite looking forward to having my own home again, and all my books surrounding me!
anyway this is just a teeny clip, and following it are some pics from wanders around the city.
its been quite chilly here, and i dont have any of my winter clothes, they arrive(hopefully) on the ship from Japan, on march the third. but this has meant that venturing out of the apartment has been a somewhat freezy experience, so i havent really done much exploring yet ;(
The Caixa Forum, all the exhibitions were free, and there was a lovely one of photographs and documentation on Charlie Chaplin… i really enjoyed that, and am quite keen to eat alot of popcorn and sit down to watch some Chaplin movies now. There was also an interesting installation by Petra Mrzyk & Jean-Francois Moriceau…Click here to view their websitemuy intresante! see I am trying to learn Spanish, so far it is quite quite impossible!
of course its Gaudi, i wanted to capture all the tourists taking pictures of the building, but you cant really see the hilarity of the situation here…so many tourists, more than I have ever seen, except for perhaps nikko in Japan
The view form Park Guell.
